If you're working with thick, sticky material, Lab Sigma Mixer is the machine for it. Two sigma blades pull, shear, and fold the batch against the trough walls until it's evenly mixed through. The operator sets speed, temperature, and mixing time, which keeps R&D trials and small production runs repeatable.
Lab Sigma Mixer is for masses that ordinary mixers can't move: thick, sticky, highly viscous material. The sigma blades push it sideways and at an angle at once. Close to the trough walls, they pull, shear, and fold it over repeatedly until the batch is even.
How hard the material gets worked depends on two things: how much the blades overlap and the speed ratio between them. If your formulation needs more or less shear, you can adjust the blade twist angle.
It handles powders, pastes, creams, gels, and high-viscosity masses. You can heat or cool during the run, and the chamber is easy to reach, so cleaning between batches is quick.
