Horizontal Plough-Shear Mixer blends dry powders, granules, and damp materials in a horizontal drum. Plough-shaped blades throw the material up and across the drum while it turns. We build these mixers in five sizes, from 500 kg to 5 tons, and most batches are done in 10 to 20 minutes.

500 Kg Plough Shear Mixer
This mixer takes a 500 kg batch in 10 to 20 minutes. It runs on a 7.5 HP, 1440 rpm motor with a helical gearbox and has 10 ploughs in a 6 mm MS shell. It also comes with two 2 HP shear motors and two air inlets.
1 Ton Plough Shear Mixer
For plants moving 1 ton per batch, this mixer pairs a 15 HP, 1440 rpm motor with an ELECON helical gearbox. It has 8 to 10 ploughs in a 6 mm MS shell, an 8-inch outlet, and MS feeding and discharging conveyors. A batch takes 10 to 20 minutes
2 Ton Plough Shear Mixer
Built for 2-ton batches, this mixer uses a 40 HP, 1440 rpm motor with a helical gearbox. The shell is 6 to 8 mm mild steel, and the outlet is 8 inches. A full batch mixes in 10 to 20 minutes.
3 Ton Plough Shear Mixer
The 3 ton model is driven by a 30 HP, 1440 rpm motor and an ELECON helical gearbox. Inside an 8 mm MS shell, 10 to 12 ploughs mix each batch in 10 to 20 minutes, and the 8-inch outlet clears the drum quickly.
5-Ton Plough Shear Mixer
Our largest model handles 5000 kg per batch. A 45 HP, 1440 rpm motor and an ELECON helical gearbox turn 8 to 10 ploughs inside a 6 to 8 mm MS shell. Mixing takes 10 to 20 minutes, and the 8-inch outlet empties the drum.
We make them in 500 kg, 1 Ton, 2 Ton, 3 Ton, and 5 ton capacities. Also, we can customize more capacity as per your requirement.
Most batches take 10 to 20 minutes, regardless of the model.
It blends dry powders and granules, and also moist blends and pastes. Common uses include coating powders, wetting and pre-granulation, and mixing liquids into powders.
The standard shell is 6 to 8 mm mild steel. If your process needs it, we can build the mixer in SS304 or SS316.
